Yeah I think we do still need the separate 'site' aka bootstrap template
because we don't all have access to the kind of all singing all dancing cms
tools found in some places! ;-)

Moodle is getting more and more bootstrap integration so it's good to keep
in sync with all that!

Maybe I missed something from the library, or it needs setting up
differently. I'll have a look, 'cos they would be pretty handy.

BTW I like the way you can stack two or more icons together:

Just like the old days!

It's a good call. I've put the local copies in, and use them: so they'll
need keeping up to date. It means we have bootstrap in two places, so we
should look at a common place for shared stuff. I haven't touched the export
code, but suspect it isn't too much to add in the new folders; also I just
took the downloads and put them in there, I suspect we only need the
.min.css files.

Crikey, you pose a question, go away, come back, and it's done! I should
pose more questions more often. ;-)

I can see John's point about local copies but It's great to have this even
if only online - should help to brighten up all those plain text pages at
the very least! Very easy to include the icons at different sizes too.

Cheers

Ron

Crikey, give 'em an inch.

;-)

I've done that now. I haven't added them to the export code - I'm not too
familiar with that, so probably easier if Tom does it (it'll just be the two
font-awesome folder and bootstrap folder in the Xerte template and the
font-awesome folder in the site template (I'm not sure if this exports at
all?)

Yeah, OK. I just added the links to the CDN stylesheet to rloObject.htm in
modulkes/xerte/player_html5 and to play.php and preview.php for the
bootstrap template.

Thanks.

Yeah I think a drop down for installed themes would be good. We already have
the ability to override styles on a per LO basis but not so easy to deal
with the button images that way.

On a not completely un-related note anyone looked at including Font Awesome
for both the XOT template as well as Bootstrap? Indeed is it in the latter
already or is there an easy way to include it?

Do you think we should have a property page for look and feel?

I am thinking of the "hobbler" script I use for single page LOs as a handy
display short cut?

Really like to hear about the work that John did :)
People want to change the colours and buttons. I have to look into using the
stylesheet a bit more. Haven't have time for that....

Personally I think it would be very hard to do WYSIWYG and maintain the
flexibility of the authoring tool.

What do you mean by 'change the design'?

Hi,

I heard there are 'plans' for a another editor in Xerte/XOT (wysiwyg?). Does
anyone have information for me about that? I ask this because it's the
number 1 question for people working with XOT. Number two is the possibility
to change the design ;)...
