Everyone's impression of what's good and bad isn't the same though...

As long as it doesn't get easy to make something bad. WYSIWYG and colours / styles make bad stuff easy to make. Bad stuff should be hard to make in toolkits.

I did a more basic customisation for all the LO's available from http://learningmathsonline.ac.uk e.g. a green interface rather than black but had to change all the button graphics to do that and it applies installation wide. It would be good to enable themes and have those options per LO rather than sitewide or as well as site wide.

We probably need to make it easy for people to design and apply themes. You can override the stylesheet: someone here did this, which looks really nice, but took a bit of work:

Really like to hear about the work that John did :)
People want to change the colours and buttons. I have to look into using the stylesheet a bit more. Haven't have time for that....

Inge

There is a desire to change the editor to one written in HTML5 and get rid of the Flash one. I think John has got some progress with it, but it's quite a bit of work.

Personally I think it would be very hard to do WYSIWYG and maintain the flexibility of the authoring tool.

What do you mean by 'change the design'?

Hi,

I heard there are 'plans' for a another editor in Xerte/XOT (wysiwyg?). Does anyone have information for me about that? I ask this because it's the number 1 question for people working with XOT. Number two is the possibility to change the design ;)...
