Thomas, this is fantastic!

I am forwarding this to Ben Starling who is trying to make sure my Xerte program appears correctly on our external site – he is looking into the problem, but has a million other things to do, so I am not sure exactly where he is with this.

Ben: I am happy to liase with Thomas if you are over run with stuff, but it may be better for him to talk directly to you as my knowledge is a bit more basic than yours?

Nicolle

Good Morning Nicolle,

I’m Thomas Rochford and I work for the Regional Support for Eastern England. Mike Carrington knows me, so you can check this out with him, if you wish.

As you may know we provide free support to your College, and you may know my colleagues Catherine Bone and Malcolm Bodley who visited your College a month or two ago. I also work closely with the Xerte Development team and am responsible for the standalone version which can run from a USB stick. We call this MAXOS (Moodle and Xerte On a Stick).

If you need any additional support with this problem, or anything else to do with Xerte, please drop me a line and I can nip over, I live in Cambridge and work from home, so it’s not difficult to come over at all.

Kindest Regards,
Thomas

Dear Xerte users,

I am trying to make a package using the online toolkit, and need to export it to allow my school to post it up in a finished form on our external website.

I have used the ‘scorm export’ method as advised, and when I activate the program once I have unzipped it, it says it is looking for an API adaptor.

Despite the errors, it seems to work OK, but I would prefer not to have confusing messages pop up.

The exact messages are:

Unable to locate the LMS’s API Implementation LMSInitialize was not successful

Unable to find an API adaptor.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thanks,

Nicolle
