The line breaks screw it up:

<style>
p {
  font-size:20px;
}
</style>

<div id="divID"><p>Hello</p></div>

doesn’t work, but

<style>p {  font-size:50px;}</style>
<p>Hello</p>

does.

Hmmm…

I just tried this code

[cid:image001.png at 01CE8885.B654ED10]

And got an alert followed by:

[cid:image002.png at 01CE8885.B654ED10]

So it is working in test cases, but not in other cases… Can’t reproduce the error (console error that I was receiving previously) just now though… anyone else?

Does chrome show console errors?

Dunno. I’m not too bothered, but as the HTML mark-up works I couldn’t see why styles of scripts wouldn’t work. It’s a useful thing in the bootstrap template, because you can basically paste in whatever functionality you want.

I tried the same with adding <script> tags and they didn’t work, just got some console error… Do you see any console error with <style> tags?

I assumed it was stripslashes or something that but haven’t had a chance to look into it any further…

Does anyone know why <style> tags don’t work in HTML5 playback? It’s not important, but the recent discussion on tree view menus lead me to try a css only treeview, but the styles didn’t take, even though the html was rendered. Simple example would be:

<style>
p {
  font-size:20px;
}
</style>

<div id="divID"><p>Hello</p></div>

Pasted into a plain text page.
