I’ve been looking at it very recently… still not got it working yet but it should be possible…

Hi Julian,

That would be fine if the LMS and Xerte were on the same domain. What if you wanted to serve the same content to multiple domains?

We haven’t done it that way, but it can be done: when a SCORM LO is l;auncehd it looks up through the window hierarchy for the API, and then initialises when it finds it: if an LMS opened a window to a Xerte SCO on a toolkits server, it should still do that, it wouldn’t be difficult to experiment with,

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if Xerte has cracked the problem of cross-domain SCORM playing? So that the Xerte learning object can stay on the Xerte server, and be played inside multiple LMS's/VLE's.

I know it's possible (Xyleme, who I did some work for last year, have got it working on their Bravais content delivery platform).

Cheers,

Mark
