I thought the one in parent_templates/Nottingham was the one used at runtime?

Does anyone know if the data.xwd file in toolkits/modules/xerte/parent_templates/Nottingham is still needed?  There’s now a folder called wizards here with a data.xwd file in too and this seems to be the one being used.  Has the other one just been left there from the way this folder used to be structured and now isn’t needed?
