Yep upgrade.php?debug=yes working now e.g. displaying sql
DEBUG Query: INSERT INTO ldap
(ldap_knownname,ldap_host,ldap_port,ldap_username,ldap_password,ldap_basedn,
ldap_filter,ldap_filter_attr) VALUES(?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?), output 1

and return also shows true e.g.
Migrated LDAP settings from sitedetails to ldap - ok ? true

Try now. I think I've fixed the ?debug=yes stuff so it'll work.
