I don't care ahere the one source is either. It can be the current folder or the runtime/pages. Same difference to me...

Julian, yes you can build the large one from the small ones. I'll try to create a .bat file to do that.
- Manually, open a command prompt and run <repo>\php\php <repo>\scripts\rebuildtemplate.php <repo>\pageWizards\en-GB

And the information for the learning Object is in basic.xwd. What the rebuildtemplate.php does, is take the basic.xwd and add all the nodes from the little xwds

As long as there is one source!

I've always developed using the runtime folder to launch the xerte.exe in there, and then I have all the latest models to hand when I open the rlt in templates/pagetemplates, which makes it pretty straightforward.

So the definitive source of models / xwd information is in xerte2repo/pageWizards?

I think this is true at present. But I think the intention eventually will be to have the wizards and model files in the pages folder of the runtime folder. Or have I got the wrong idea?

Kind regards

Johnathan

Where does information for the learningObject node go - it doesn't have a model.

Can I rebuild the big .xwd from the small ones?

in pageWizards in xerte, that where I get them from at the moment.

The big xwd for toolkits will be generated from all the small ones, right?

So where is the best place to put changes to the small ones right now?

The xerte svn is different to the files installed in my xerte218 folder: in the install I have a folder of little xwds, I don't have that in the svn (unless I'm missing something)
