Alistair is looking to get a test server setup that we can all access, and we can make a beta 2.18 build of xerte easily enough. I think Stephanie is doing good stuff,

What are the plans for making a pre-release version of Xerte and XOT available for testing?

It occurs to me that having created the models and individual xwds we now might have at least what might be considered enough for alpha testing.

Yesterday Stefanie Panke indicated that she is producing what appears to be some quite comprehensive documentation for Xerte. It might serve both Stefanie and the projects needs well if she was able to have access to a pre-release version of 2.18 so that she could base her documentation for the desktop version around the features that it will include instead of referring to the "Page Wizards". In return her use of the pre-release version, if she is interested in doing this, could provide some useful testing. I am all to aware that at present I may be the only person to have made any use of the new models and xwds and I am far to close to them to see things that might appear obvious to someone approaching them who is unfamiliar with them.

Kind regards

Johnathan
