JMOL works, so you can tick that off.

done

If we're all happy, and once those outstanding things are tidied up / left
for next time (which won't be far away remember) then let's wrap it up. Once
it's out in the wild we need to keep an eye on the list and fix issues as
they emerge and update the zip, for a period of time at least.

I guess we need Tom or David to confirm 1. and 2. below

It would be good for someone to go through a manual install with the docs
and check they still make sense and are in step with what the user sees on
the screens. Installation has been the biggest source of problems / support
requests, I don't think we can do too much to make that easier.

Happy to do that once we've confirmed the code is complete

cheers

The Google doc is up to date and the bugs sheet only shows two issues now...

The first issue on row 2 I think is fixed but perhaps Jonathan can confirm

The second on row 3 is about the JMOL page - does that still not work for
you? e.g. page 18 of

http://vle.jisctechdis.ac.uk/xot/play.php?template_id=22

That works for me fine.

The main things I'm aware of possibly still outstanding:

1. The discussion between mainly David and Tom about further development of
the Authentication code especially during setup - I think Tom was working on
that

2. Including the xwd builder functionality in XOT - again I think Tom was
finishing that

3. Once the above are done I hope to test upgrading earlier installs and
highlight any issues. I would think this is what most will want to do so
once tested will need to be documented.

HTH

Ron

Hiya,

I'm back from leave now: there's only so much balmy summer weather I can
cope with.

We need to figure out what is outstanding in order to get this release
sorted. I know we are getting close, but how close are we?
