[Xerte-dev] Re: HTML 5 version

Spending some time together looking at how to build new templates for HTML5 would be time well spent I reckon; a brief chew over the last years work, and what's worked / not worked as suggested also useful. I'd like to spend some time thinking about the community web site and how we fire that up, and I'm sure there are other ideas out there.

I'm more than happy with the lightweight nonference approach. If we open up invites more widely it will be interesting to see who would come along and what they would want to come along for, so is his more a developer meeting, or is it a training session for users? The RSCs are already doing a great job with those events being held regularly, maybe some of the RSC folk would want to come along as they have really picked up xerte and run with it, so maybe it's more about supporting the people supporting the users?

I think last time we half had something to discuss
(internationalization), this time - not so sure? Obviously a minutes
silence for flash. Of course we can give it a catchy Shakespeare quote
as a tag line.......

I've got some "ideas" for next steps, but I was thinking of coding
these in once 1.8 was released - but maybe, for want of an expression
- a sprint or hack jam?
