I think this is your situation to resolve...

Hello Inge,

The quiz has got a fair bit of display text in it, which tends to make the xwd form rather busy. It was actually the first model I converted for translation back in the days when we were just beginning to talk about how this might be implemented. So I am just waiting for any additions to the features offered by xwd forms to be completed, so that I can set up the form to display in the most user friendly way.

There has been some discussion regarding possible additions to the features offered by xwd based forms, that would allow for the forms to be divided into sections that could be displayed or hidden. Julian added an "Advanced" flag which allows you to mark some properties as advanced that then only show when the advanced box is checked. I don't know if any further changes are going to be implemented or whether "advanced" is all there will be.

Whilst I am waiting for the situation to resolve I am working on the Connector models (formerly known as routed pages), but rest assured the Quiz will be included in the model set.

With regard to the detection of the environment in a model i.e. desktop V pageTemplate / XOT I would prefer something automatic in the model. If I set a flag in the xwd it has to default to something, presumably XOT meaning that none of the pages would run out of the box in a desktop pages project. The user would always have to remember to change the setting.

I think I may have a possible candidate value that will provide the environment indicator I need. I now have a working MAXOS environment to test it on. So I am going to run a few tests and see how things go.

Hope you both enjoyed the skiing!

Kind regards

Johnathan

Hi Jonathan,

We had a look at your work so far, looking good! Toppie :)

We were just wondering what happened to the Quiz?
Also with respect to your question about pages for the development mode or XOT mode only, Tom suggest to ad an attribute to the xwd.

Bye,
Inge
