Text doesn't have to be in p tags for it to be readable by screen readers etc.

I think there was something in the xenith code where I couldn't tab to a particular button unless it was inside a p tag (maybe?)

Fair enough. Well it should work in the html version although perhaps someone can look at the accessibility? I've read other comments I'm sure, of Fay's, that some things have had to be wrapped in <p> tags - or did I imagine that? Don't think the timer is as it was a quick addition and made the bar huge.

No, it's just an indicator. Something along the lines of

'Try the interaction on the following page. See if you can complete it in the target time indicated'.

I wasn't keen on the idea, I'd always understood timing stuff to be an accessibility no-no, but the users had a good enough use case: they needed to be able to simulate exam conditions when they were being timed.

Was the timer supposed to do anything when it counts down? I couldn't see the Flash version doing anything so the HTML version doesn't either...

I've just found a small bug in the Flash version.

If you have a project where the first page is an interactivity page with the page timer optional property it doesn't show the timer bar when you first view it. If you move to page 2 and then back to page 1 it will appear but not on first view.
