Hi Tom and sorry by the late.

I think its a very helpful and powerful way to translate XERTE/XOT

Find someone to help the translation to spanish is no difficult. Even me and some folks may help with this task.

If you want, you can give a user and password to start the translation:

User: venezuela
Pass: c4r4c45 (or something)

I think it's important to explain how to use this translation tool with a XERTE/XOT installation.

If you explain me the process, I can prepare some post at my blog in spanish.

What do you think?

José.

José,

May I ask you to have a look at xertetrans.xerte.org.uk? (Login with
guest/guest, you can't change anything, but you can have a look around.
Everything works except saving the translation.).

This is a tool that is meant for translation of the upcoming 1.8/2.18
release of XOT/Xerte.

It has two separate tools, one to translate the Pages of the page
templates, and one to translate all the texts used in the Xerte Online
Toolkits user interface.

If you're interested or know someone who could help with the translation
into Spanish I would be very happy to give you a login for Spanish.

The whole purpose of this tool is to keep the translation maintainable,
so that if new items are added to the system, it is easy to update the
translation.

Let me know if you're able to help out.

Thanks!

Tom
