Zool. Afr., 15: 362) had felt but later (1927, Bull. AMNH 62: 76, and 1939, Am. Mus. Novit., 1026: 8) merged
it under <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Phytomia</I> (earlier <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Megaspis</I> Macquart as I knew it when I began my Syrphidae studies in 1973).<o:p></o:p></SPAN></div>
