Ulrich Schmid informed me, that a new volume of the journal "Volucella"
has recently been published. Uli would like to invite you all to visit
the Journal´s webpage, where you can find content information and
abstracts of the recent and all other volumes of this very nice
journal. My personal opinion is that "Volucella" is a "must" to have
and it is
very low priced in relation to its value to the Syrphidologist (for the
volunteer and the professional)!<br>

<b> VOLUCELLA is a journal on hoverflies. It covers all aspects
concerning Syrphidae, especially from the fields of taxonomy,
systematics, morphology, ecology, ethology, biogeography, faunistics,
and conservation. The journal will publish original articles, short
notes, book reviews, material requests, etc. covering Syrphidae of the
Palaearctic Region. Articles are either in English or in German and
contain abstracts in both languages. <br>

The intentions of VOLUCELLA are:
<ul class="hinweis">
<li>to supply a wealth of information on Syrphidae in a single
journal for a low price</li>
<li>to provide a forum for amateurs and professionals</li>
<li>to promote communication between workers interested in
Palaearctic Syrphidae.</li>
</ul>
VOLUCELLA will be published annual, and circulated only by
subscription. For subscription use the order form and send it to Ulrich
Schmid. Annual subscription price is 20 € (postage and packaging
inclusive). Subscribers will receive an invoice with the annual issue.</b><br>
