[Syrphidae] Request

Dear All,

A decline in biodiversity is occurring worldwide. Society has recognized
the critical importance of pollinators.



The SPRING project (Strengthening Pollinator Recovery through Indicators
and monitorinG) launched by the EU Commission with an aim to strengthen
taxonomic capacity with regard to pollinating insects, supports preparation
for the implementation of an EU Pollinator Monitoring Scheme.

One of the Tasks of this project is to help image validation of pollinators
in the application ObsIdentify (https://observation.org/apps/obsidentify).

We would be very happy if you would be interested to become a validator of
photos of Syrphidae. You can become a validator of certain species, a
genus, or syrphids of one region.

further information.
