[Syrphidae] War

Dear friends, as you already know, today Ukrainian cities came under
massive missile strikes from Russia. One rocket hit very close to the
Institute of Zoology and the National Museum of Natural History in Kyiv.
The staff was not injured, only window glass on several floors, including
in our department, was blown out. The collections were not damaged, because
most of them were taken to the basement below ground level. Take care of
your scientific collections, because as the war in Ukraine showed, trouble
can happen suddenly. Best, Grigory.
