[Syrphidae] Meaning of name

Hello!

Might anyone be able to tell me the meaning of "plena" Collin assigned to
Brachyopa plena in his 1939 paper "Notes on Syrphidae III"?
My Latin dictionary has a few meanings for 'plenus'.
