Yes, friends it is a terrible news. Chris Thompson was a classic
of dipterology and a great specialist in Syrphidae.
An irreparable loss. In difficult days for Valery Mutin and me, he 
helped us a lot. Very disappointing.

My sincere condolences to Nancy.
