[Syrphidae] Chris Thompson

Hello everyone,

I bring terribly sad news today. Chris Thompson passed away yesterday after
a short battle with pancreatic cancer. I will share the obituary once I
have it. I am guessing Chris would love donations in his name be made to
the Williston fund (
https://naturalhistory.si.edu/research/entomology/opportunities/williston-diptera-research-fund),
but let's see what the obituary says when it is available.
