Hi All,

I have an interesting male Platycheirus from the Pyrenees in front of me,
that resembles albimanus. It also looks a bit like Platycheirus muelleri.

However, almost nothing is known about this species. It is described by
Marcuzzi in 1941 with only a poor description (see attachment). He does not
mention where the type is. It might be Trento. Does anybody know where to
find that type?

Does anybody have more useful information about this species?

Many thanks in advance,

Sander
