Geroninae Hesse, 1938; Now Toxophorinae, tribe Gerontini Hull, 1973
Xenoprosopinae Hesse, 1956
Tachydromiinae Westwood, 1840
Sepsinae Walker, 1833 (and thus also Sepsidae)
Stomoxyinae Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1889 (from Stomoxyidae); earlier
Stomoxidae Meigen, 1824

I assume the new names should be used, but whether the author names of the
older ones still apply or not I do not know. I am not up to speed with the
nomenclatorial code for suprageneric names.
