[Syrphidae] Cheilosia soror and synonyms

Dear all,

I have spent some hours trying to find a formal published reason why *Cheilosia
ruffipes* (Preyssler, 1793) is a synonym of *Cheilosia soror* (Zetterstedt,
1843), and I did not succeed.

This is what I found " Peck (1988) listed *C. soror* as synonym of *C.
ruffipes* (written as *rufipes* in Peck). Vujić and Glumac (1994) listed *C.
soror* as junior synonym of *C. rufipes* [sic] based on Peck (1988). But
Vujić (1996) accepted *C. soror* as a valid name, as explained in Vujić et
al. (2002) ".

Any help on this would be very appreciated.
