[Syrphidae] Status assessment of European Hoverflies (Syrphidae) - European Red List of Hoverflies (EU and pan-Europe)

Dear all,

Roger Morris pointed out to me this project about the status of the European and pan-European hoverflies, which is an initiative from the European Commission, DG for Environment (ENV).

He thinks (as do I myself) there should be a good number of European specialists involved in this project to ensure the data generated from this will be more or less solid.

If you have any ideas on this, or you see possibilities to work on it and participate in the bidding with your institute, please do so! As for myself, I would be willing to participate in the project if possible, depending on how the final project looks like.
