[Syrphidae] Help on Temnostoma species

Dear friends and colleagues,

firstly, my apologies for this general email, but I think this is the best
way to request your help.

Our colleague Jirka Hadrava, a PhD student from Prague, would like to do a
molecular phylogeny for the genus *Temnostoma*, and we are missing several
species. Some of these species are less common in Europe, such as *T.
carens, T. sericomyiaeforme* or *T. meridionale*, and others are from
eastern Palaearctic (Japan, China, Far East).

The sampling season has just started and we would be extremely happy and
thankful if you could get a specimen of those 'missing' taxa for us in pure
ethanol. Let me know if you need vials or ethanol and I will manage that.

Attached you may find the list of the missing *Temnostoma *species for
Jirka's project.
