If you were present in Monschau, you may remember my talk on this topic. If not, the abstract is in page 34: https://www.zfmk.de/dateien/atoms/files/iss8-abstracts.pdf I do need a big favor. We are looking for some recent material of *Scaeva mecogramma* (Bigot) to obtain DNA. Any pinned material from the last 5 years, or (preferably) any material in alcohol would be highly appreciated. The range of the species is Spain, southern France, Corsica, Italy, and Switzerland; and the flight period May/June and August/September. Please contact me if you have some material of this species, or if you try to collect during this summer in these regions with a chance to catch this species. I hope you can help us. Thank you very much!
