[Syrphidae] attachments

Dear all

It is a bit hard to know what the size limit for attachments is. It seems to increase all the time. However, we should be careful with anything more than about 12 MB, I think, although sometimes it will take attachments that are a bit larger.

This last post was 32GB - it crashed my in-box and possibly that of others - if you want to send such big files please just send it strictly to the person who wants it.

I would strongly recommend use of 'We Transfer' or a similar system - this sort of file size is just not compatible with the average capacity of private individual's in-boxes and possibly that of others.
