[Syrphidae] List of Syrphid Species

Hello

I'm a Masters student at Imperial College in London and I'm writing my
thesis on hoverflies.  I'm trying to find an up to date list of all
syrphid species, but I understand this might be more difficult than it
sounds!  I'm particularly interested in how many species are in each
genus.

Any advice you could give me on where to find this sort of information
would be invaluable!
