[Syrphidae] Pollen for syrphids

Hello. We are going to attempt to rear one or a couple of species of
syrphids in the laboratory this summer, and I was wondering if anyone could
help me with some information about a pollen source for them. Is there a
preferred source on which they do best? One of the species (hopefully) will
be a Pipizine. Is there anything out there about rearing members of that
Tribe? I haven't seen anything in the literature to date. Thanks very much
