On 2 June 2025 , the Ethical Data Initiative, in collaboration with the European Commission, CoARA-ERIP,  and European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO), organised an important conference on ‘Advancing responsible research assessment systems in
 the digital space: A dialogue on ethics, integrity, and open infrastructures for research in the AI era’ at the Palace of the Academies, Brussels where David Budtz Pedersen (Chair of the International Stakeholder Committee) announced the EU high-level conference
 on reforming research assessment. So it is really great that the University of Exeter formally joining CoARA is announced at the EU high-level conference on reforming research assessment. </div>
