The Senior Editors for the JIT Special Issue on “Futuring: ‘Digital’ Futures as a Novel Site of Inquiry and Imagination” have now had the opportunity to screen all the papers submitted. Although the research you submitted is interesting, we have decided that
it does not fit the overall goals we have for the Special Issue. Therefore, were have made a Reject decision on your paper and will not be considering it further for the SI.<br>
<br>
I want to emphasize that this is not a judgement on the quality of your research or the overall concept. It is entirely a matter of not fitting within the scope of concepts we hope to include. This is a Reject decision for the Special Issue, not for the Journal
of Information Technology. If you are interested, you may submit this work to JIT in line with the regular submission process.<br>

I also mention that an AIS journal just announced a Special Issue on Futures studies. If you cannot find the CfP, contact me and I will forward it.<br>

The SEs thank you for your interest in Futures-oriented research and for the work you put into this submission. We hope you continue this interest and consider the ongoing conference tracks on Futures (HICSS) and keep an eye out for other opportunities we are
