<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="http://www.nottsfosac.co.uk">The Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity</a> will be taking place 7 - 16 February 2022. For the last six years, the festival has been a key opportunity for
<b>researchers and students</b> of every discipline from University of Nottingham to take their research off-campus and into the everyday lives of the people of Nottingham. The 2021 festival reached over 1000 young people in education, distributed 13,000 copies
of their magazine and attracted an average of 6475 viewers to each episode of Wollaton Watch.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The festival team, which includes a wide partnership of representatives from UoN, NTU, Nottingham City Council, Ignite!, and other cultural and educational organisations, is planning on delivering the next festival with a highly adaptive
programme, built around a core offer that is not subject to change. <b>If you're interested in getting involved and want to find out more</b>, join Megan Shore (Festival Producer) and Maria Richards (Institute for Policy and Engagement) for a 30 minute online

<p class="MsoNormal">Megan will provide examples of successful activities that have inspired audiences in the past and answer any questions you may have about how to create something suitable. Learn about how you can contribute to the Festival magazine, the
hugely popular Wollaton Watch, or create online/in person events. Events can be aimed at any audience, there is an offer curated especially for schools that you can participate in, or you can create your own event for a specific group of people.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The festival team are already working with interns to create content for 2022’s Wollaton Watch, which will be broadcast live on Notts TV during the festival. They would like to create a series of videos where they interview scientists from
different disciplines to help people better understand their work and recognise that a huge range of people go into science as a career. They are looking to record scientists from all job families, including PhD students. They will happily come onto campus
