For the last eight years, the festival has been a key opportunity for researchers and students from University of Nottingham to take their research off-campus and into the everyday lives of the people of Nottingham.
This year sees the festival return with a full programme of face to face, hybrid and digital events aimed at families and young people aged 5 - 11.
There are three ways to get involved:

  1. Contribute to the Festival magazine.
For the past three years, the Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity has produced a festival magazine, designed to creatively engaged children aged 9-11 with the world of science. Each February, 12,000 magazines are produced and distribute them through schools, community groups and partner venues, as well as making it available online via our website.
Contributions are currently being sought for this year's Festival magazine, the deadline for magazine content is 24 September 2023. Submit your ideas here: https://nottsfosac.co.uk/2024-festival/
