[Public-engagement] Funding Opportunity: Research England Participatory Research Call - deadline 11 November

Dear Colleagues,

Research England has again allocated UoN a grant from their Participatory Research Fund. These funds are being managed by The Institute for Policy and Engagement and we are delighted to invite applications for projects that involve collaboration.  As a portfolio the successful projects will directly involve a wide pool of people, organisations and participatory approaches to research.


  *   Fund total is £250K, we expect to fund 10-15 projects.
  *   Submissions must be led by a UoN academic or member of research staff, working in partnership with a public body, charity or other organisation that facilitates working with the community.
  *   Projects must begin this academic year, spend must be complete by 31st March 2024.
  *   Priority will be given to projects that align with our civic agenda and/or reach communities who are less represented in decision making.
  *   Successful applicants will be notified by mid-December.
