[Public-engagement] Call for contributions - Secret Science Show for European Researchers' Night - 27th November

Dear Colleagues

I have received a request for speakers from Sue Mallander, Science Learning Officer at Nottingham City Museums.  Please see her message below;

We are intending that the Secret Science Show for European Researchers' Night will be an online event on Friday 27th November.

When we have a live event we have a keynote speaker, 4 demonstrators and a concluding speaker. I am therefore interested in finding 6 speakers/demonstrators, preferably those with European Funding (specifically Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) and on the theme of "What has Nature Ever Done for us?", which is anything from bio medical research to the positive impact of nature on human mental health. The idea is that staff and students at any level demonstrate their research in a 20 minute piece of film.

If you are interested in this opportunity to engage with young people please send me an email by Wednesday 4th November and I will pass your details on to Sue.
