Dear all,

This week the Royal Society has opened applications for scientists who want to participate in the annual pairing scheme<https://royalsociety.org/grants-schemes-awards/pairing-scheme/>. You can access the application form via: https://royalsociety.org/grants-schemes-awards/pairing-scheme/. The scheme is open to any UK based scientist who has at least two-year’s post-doctoral experience or the equivalent in industry. It is also worth noting it’s open to people of all career stages – provided they meet this criteria (not just early career researchers).

Applications close on Sunday 15 April. This year’s week in Westminster will take place from Sunday 25 to Thursday 29 November.

You can find further details about the paring scheme at https://royalsociety.org/grants-schemes-awards/pairing-scheme/

You can also read this blog post<http://blogs.nottingham.ac.uk/newsroom/2015/12/07/58732/> about Dr Rebecca Dewey’s experience in November 2015. Dr Dewey (Research Fellow in Neuroimaging, University of Nottingham) was paired with Lilian Greenwood, Labour MP for Nottingham South.

Best wishes,
Madalina
