 Efficient Tests That Map Both Central and Peripheral Vision</span></i>), The investigator team is A/Prof Andrew Turpin (Computing and Information Systems), Prof Allison McKendrick (Optometry & Vision Science), Swiss-based company Haag-Streit AG, and international
 partner Prof Paul Artes (Plymouth Uni, UK). This project will devise new algorithms for testing peripheral and central vision. Current approaches to visual field testing typically use either static targets focused on the central 30 degrees of vision, or moving/kinetic
 targets for more peripheral vision. This project aims to combine the two in a principled and practical fashion. New algorithms will be initially tested using computer simulation, and successful approaches will be tested in a small group of people with visual
 field damage.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
