What do people think about a day trip to Alton Towers? To ensure that we can involve our incoming PhD students and not clash with teaching, <b>Thursday 25th September</b> turns out to be the best date. From a very quick look on their website, a group day trip with discounts comes in at <b>£32 per person</b>.
