Subject: Prof. Dan Marcus Seminar - Using XNAT for neuroimaging research - Monday 13th November, 13:00-14:00, B34 Boots Building

Dear All

Prof. Marcus is the director of the Neuroimaging informatics and Analysis Center (NIAC) and leads the Neuroinformatics Research Group at Wash U in St Louis. He is the brains behind XNAT, which is an open source system for managing, processing, and sharing research imaging and related data. XNAT is the imaging informatics platform used for large scale projects, like the Human Connectome Project (HCP) and Dementias Platform UK (DPUK). Dan is visiting next Monday (13th Nov) and will give a talk overviewing XNAT, how it’s used in various situations, and how it enables open science.

See more about Dan: https://www.mir.wustl.edu/research/research-support-facilities/neuroimaging-informatics-analysis-center-niac/our-staff/niac-staff-dan-marcus

And more about XNAT: https://www.xnat.org/

Please come along to hear the talk and let me know if you’d like to meet with Dan individually.

Best wishes
Stam
