Best Craig From: Davies-Thompson Jodie Sent: Wednesday, 8 March, 15:10 Subject: vision lectures To: Scott Craig Hi Scott - would it be possible to forward this to the vision group? Many thanks, Jodie ? Hi all, There is a new module for medical students which will include 2 x 1hour lectures on the neuro side of vision, from low-level to high-level. I was going to deliver these but am now unable to. Let me know if you are interested in doing these 2 lectures, or want to find out more. As someone who has been looking at a lot of job adverts recently, I can attest to how important it is to get some teaching experience on a module under your belt. Should be a pretty easy crowd since they will know nothing about vision and the brain! All the best, Jodie (j.davies-thompson at nottingham.ac.uk) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The next one will be on Thursday the 6th of April and will be lead by Dr. Holmes who heads the Hand Lab within the school. Nick will be giving a talk titled: "The neural basis of rapid visual "on-line" control of reaching movement" This is some interesting work that Nick is currently leading that is challenging the field. Hope to see you all there. I will give you more updates nearer the time. Best wishes Craig -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
