Dear All,

No vision group meeting today. Link<http://doodle.com/poll/9gxbatknuxm9vcbr#table> to sign up (please).

Here are some vision related (or loosely vision based) talks going on around this University in the next month:

The BOLD signal is complex and poorly understood...<http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/magres/events/seminar24nov16.aspx> - 24th November 2016, 1-2PM - The Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic Resonance Centre

Presenter - Dr. Blockley (University of Oxford)

Meeting the Needs of the Child/Young Person with Visual Impairment in the Mainstream Setting<https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/meeting-the-needs-of-the-childyoung-person-with-visual-impairment-in-the-mainstream-setting-tickets-27672907411?aff=ehomecard> - 6th December 2016, 4:30 - 6:30PM

The seminar explores the impact of visual impairment on the child's learning and development

Next planned meeting:

8th December - 16:00 - 17:00

Prof. Walker will be coming back for an informal discussion about how to measure visual ability in children with brain tumours. The idea of this talk will be to focus on developing and sharing ideas.

Best wishes

Craig
