Hi all

I could also drive;
If somebody might want to replace/extend their daily cycling trip to Uni with a part-trip along the edge of the Peak District (e.g. from Ashbourne or somewhere in the Peak district) please let me know, as I would fancy.
I could currently take one additional person including their bike in the car, otherwise (without bikes) 3 additional comfortably and 4 less comfortably

Subject: [psychology-visionlist] Re: Vision Group Away Day

Dear all,

There are 18 of us going on the away day. Please could we meet in the car park across the road from psychology (lakeside cafe car park) just before 9 am on Thursday. We have two normal cars (which can each fit up to 5 people), one shag wagon (which can fit up to 7 people at a squeeze), and one love machine (which can fit a romantic two). To make the journey at little more comfortable, can anyone else (except for Zahra) drive?

Thanks,

Ben

Dear all,

The following people have paid for the vision away day:

I will be making a group booking on Monday (8th), which save us 35% of the ticket price. If you would like to be included in this group booking, please give me the £32 by Monday morning at the latest. Alternatively, if you are away from work at the moment, I can give you my bank details to transfer the money.

All the best,

Ben

Dear all,

Thank you to those of you that have replied about the away day on Thursday 25th September. We have good numbers, 16-17 at the last count. As I am away on holiday soon, Viv has kindly agreed to collect the cash for the away day. Please can everyone give Viv £32 in cash by no later than 1st September. If you haven't handed over the wonga by then, I will assume you don't want to attend.

With best wishes,

Ben

Dear all,

We have been discussing what to do for our group away day this year. What do people think about a day trip to Alton Towers? To ensure that we can involve our incoming PhD students and not clash with teaching, Thursday 25th September turns out to be the best date. From a very quick look on their website, a group day trip with discounts comes in at £32 per person. We may be able to get in cheaper than that with a bit more research.

So that I can gauge numbers and interest, please could people email me back with either: yes I am in or no thanks.

With best wishes,

Ben
