As long as it's understood to be just a brief intro to the topic then it's fine, and certainly entertaining. I have deep qualms, however, about the "every concept, no matter how complex and intellectually challenging, can be explained in 60 seconds" meme: http://physicsfocus.org/philip-moriarty-perform-or-perish-guilty-confessions-of-a-youtube-physicist/

Certainly very entertaining. That Hilbert was "friend of Albert Einstein and enemy of chambermaids the world over" is a very funny line!

Good at setting the scene to those who know something about the topic. Might be hard going for those who have never been exposed to these problems before. It is all presented so quickly that it might be difficult to disentangle the humour from the problem. I suppose one just plays it again ...

This is an interesting use of animation: 60 second adventures in... (from the Open University) tackles Hilbert's Hotel and Schrödinger's cat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zVaFjSxAZs
How effective do you think this technique is?
