Subject: iPads in HE

Dear all

The University is hosting a one day hands-on workshop focussing on introducing iPads into teaching. Covering reliable and effective workflows, the workshop will demonstrate how a small, but effective set of applications can enhance teaching and learning.

Repeated daily over three day between July 3rd-5th in A6 School of Psychology, the workshop will introduce:

* Producing and distributing effective content

* Taking Powerpoint presentations to a new level

*         Handling paperless workflows

* Creating powerful ePubs with existing content with iBooks Author

* Creating and sharing courses with iTunes U Course Manager

The first two will cover the basics and provide an introduction to teaching with iPads. The final day will provide an opportunity for those already experienced in using iPads in their teaching to explore more of the advanced options.

Space is strictly limited each day (15) and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please email is-learning-team at nottingham.ac.uk<mailto:is-learning-team at nottingham.ac.uk> to confirm a place.
