David Neal has died. David was based at University of Central England,
Birmingham and was very well known in the Mathematical Association through his
work as Editor of Mathematics in School.</span><br></div></blockquote><blockquote type="cite"><div>

telephoned the MA to say that David died on the 16<sup>th</sup> October.
He was in his early 70’s. David became Assistant Editor for the November
1979 issue of MIS and continued as editor until 1995.<!--?xml:namespace prefix

27<sup>th</sup> October at 12 noon, at the Robin Hood Crematorium in Shirley,
