<div>A number of people are getting posts to this list rejected and don’t understand why. </div>

<div>There are two reasons </div>
<div> </div>
<ol style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-left: 36pt; ">
<li>You have changed your email address (even without knowing) or are sending from a different email address. This is the most common reason for rejection. The system ONLY knows you by your email address; not by your name or reputation! So a slight change in
email address will result in your posting begin rejected. This might be a system change at your institution, it might be an institutional name change or it might be you are having mail redirected to a different email address from which you reply to the list.
So if you used to be for example <a href="mailto:howard.tanner@swansea.ac.uk"><font color="#0000FF"><u>howard.tanner@swansea.ac.uk</u></font></a> but your email now comes from <a href="mailto:howard.tanner@smu.ac.uk"><font color="#0000FF"><u>howard.tanner@smu.ac.uk</u></font></a>
you will be rejected. (You may not even know the change has taken place because the old addresses are all being automatically redirected)</li></ol>

<li>You include other addresses in the “TO” line. This is to stop spamming. At the moment the list will only accept postings that go to at the list plus up to two other addresses. Best practice is to only include the list. </li></ol>
