The registration will close on the 16th of May. Please do circulate this announcement to anyone who may be interested in attending. All the best, Fenner and Ben ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ POSTER SESSION We would like to invite poster submissions for the Mathematics Education Centre Symposium on Proof and Proving, to be held on May 23rd, 2019 at Loughborough University. This poster session is intended to serve as a showcase for the diverse research interests of early career researchers at local institutions and those further afield. Consistent with our Mathematics Education Centre?s broad spectrum of active research, we actively encourage submissions on a wide range of topics within mathematics education and numerical cognition, beyond just those associated with proof. High-quality submissions most aligned with the symposium theme may be invited to give a 3-5 minute presentation. Further information will be provided to invited speakers after the submission deadline. Submissions should include a <200-word abstract, and should be accompanied by a title, a list of authors and affiliated institutions. Abstracts will be reviewed by the local organising committee and evaluated for their relevance to mathematics education (or associated discipline), methodological quality, and clarity of the contribution to the research community. Submissions should be sent via email to b.m.j.davies at lboro.ac.uk, by April 15th, 2019. Please don?t forget to register for the symposium itself at the link provided above. All questions can be directed to f.tanswell at lboro.ac.uk
