The Mathematics Education Centre wishes to appoint a Senior lecturer or Reader to join an academic team highly successful in the recent Research Excellence Framework (REF).  The successful candidate will have an excellent research record with a research focus in one of the areas of Mathematics Education: Culture, Pedagogy and identity; Mathematical Cognition. The appointee will contribute to the teaching of mathematics to students in engineering disciplines.

The MEC is renowned for its work in Mathematics Support and has won an Athena Swan Silver Award together with the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
