Dear Colleagues

We are sad to inform you that Professor Derek Woodrow, a retired Head of Department for Education at MMU Cheshire, passed away on 23 November peacefully in hospital.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Pat, his children Mark and Helen and grandchildren Elliott, Emma and Callum. The funeral service will be held at St. Marys Church, Ashton-On-Mersey in Sale on Friday 04 December at 2pm, followed by committal at Altrincham Crematorium, then refreshments at St. Marys. Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired to Derek’s chosen charity, The Canon Collins Educational Trust.
